Fanshawe College in London announced the suspension of nine academic programs including dental assisting. As of September 2026, no new students will be enrolled in its dental assisting program.
The Ontario Dental Association, the London & District Dental Society, and the Ontario Dental Assistants Association have already requested that Fanshawe College reconsider its decision. The OAO also sent a letter to the College on March 25. Click here to view the letter.
